1. Cam Kết Bảo Mật Cốt Lõi
Smart Note ("tôi") tôn trọng tuyệt đối quyền riêng tư và quyền kiểm soát dữ liệu cá nhân của người dùng. Smart Note được thiết kế và kiến trúc theo nguyên tắc Local-First & Privacy-By-Design.
Điều này có nghĩa là tất cả các ghi chú, hình ảnh trích dẫn, snippet văn bản, cấu hình giao diện hay bất kỳ thông tin nào bạn nhập vào Smart Note đều được xử lý và lưu giữ hoàn toàn cục bộ trong bộ nhớ trình duyệt của chính bạn.
2. Dữ Liệu Thu Thập & Cơ Chế Lưu Trữ (Hybrid Storage v2)
Smart Note hoạt động không cần máy chủ (Serverless / No Backend) và KHÔNG thực hiện bất kỳ lệnh gửi dữ liệu nào ra khỏi thiết bị của bạn:
- IndexedDB: Được sử dụng làm cơ sở dữ liệu chính để lưu trữ toàn bộ nội dung chi tiết các thẻ ghi chú (Rich HTML text) và các tệp hình ảnh/truyền thông đính kèm (Media Blobs) dưới dạng dữ liệu nhị phân nguyên bản. Tất cả chỉ nằm trong trình duyệt Chrome của bạn.

Chrome Local Storage
(
chrome.storage.local): Được sử dụng để lưu cấu hình ứng dụng (ngôn ngữ, trạng thái hiển thị, vị trí tab active, danh sách tiêu đề tab). Tôi đã loại bỏ hoàn toàn việc đồng bộ qua Google Cloud Sync để bảo đảm 100% dữ liệu không rời khỏi máy khách. - Tuyệt đối không lưu trữ từ xa: Tôi không sở hữu, vận hành hay liên kết với bất kỳ cơ sở dữ liệu đám mây nào để thu thập dữ liệu của bạn.
3. Minh Bạch Danh Mục Quyền Chrome Extension
Để cung cấp các tính năng ghi chú nhanh vượt trội trực tiếp trên
trang web, Smart Note yêu cầu một số quyền tối thiểu (Minimum
Necessary Permissions) được khai báo trong
manifest.json. Dưới đây là bảng giải trình minh bạch

4. An Toàn & Mã Hóa Dữ Liệu (AES-GCM Encryption)
Smart Note tích hợp sẵn tính năng bảo mật cao cấp cho các thẻ ghi chú nhạy cảm:
- Chuẩn mã hóa: Tích hợp công nghệ mã hóa AES-GCM 256-bit trực tiếp qua Web Crypto API của trình duyệt.
- Xác thực PIN & Tự động Khóa (Session Auto-Lock): Khi bạn thiết lập mã PIN bảo vệ tab ghi chú, nội dung ghi chú sẽ được mã hóa AES-GCM 256-bit trước khi lưu vào IndexedDB. Mã PIN của bạn được băm bảo mật (sử dụng thuật toán PBKDF2 với 600.000 vòng lặp kết hợp thiết bị Salt) và lưu cục bộ để xác thực khi bạn mở khóa. Để bảo đảm an toàn tối đa, trạng thái giải mã tạm thời trong RAM sẽ tự động xóa (tự động khóa tab) khi bạn đóng trình duyệt, yêu cầu bạn nhập lại mã PIN để tiếp tục truy cập trong phiên tiếp theo.
5. Tuân Thủ Quy Định Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policies
Smart Note cam kết tuân thủ đầy đủ các quy định về bảo mật dữ liệu dành cho Nhà phát triển trên Chrome Web Store:
✅ Limited Use Compliance (Sử dụng hạn chế): Việc truy cập các quyền Chrome Extension hoàn toàn chỉ phục vụ cho tính năng cốt lõi của ứng dụng. Tôi không truyền dữ liệu sang bên thứ ba, không sử dụng dữ liệu để chấm điểm tín dụng, quảng cáo hay huấn luyện mô hình AI/ML mà không có sự đồng ý.
✅ No Data Sale / No Advertising: Tôi không bán, không cho thuê, không chia sẻ bất kỳ dữ liệu người dùng nào cho công ty quảng cáo hay bên môi giới dữ liệu.
6. Quyền Hạn Và Sự Kiểm Soát Của Người Dùng
Bạn giữ toàn quyền làm chủ 100% đối với dữ liệu của mình trong Smart Note:

- Quyền Xóa Dữ Liệu (Xóa vĩnh viễn): Khi bạn xóa một ghi chú hoặc gỡ cài đặt (Uninstall) Smart Note khỏi Google Chrome, toàn bộ cơ sở dữ liệu IndexedDB và Local Storage của Smart Note trên máy tính của bạn sẽ bị trình duyệt xóa sạch vĩnh viễn không thể khôi phục.
7. Điều Khoản Thay Đổi Chính Sách
Nếu tôi có bất kỳ cập nhật nào về tính năng liên quan đến cơ chế lưu trữ hoặc quy quyền hệ thống, bản Chính Sách Bảo Mật này sẽ được cập nhật công khai tại đây với Ngày hiệu lực mới. Tôi khuyến khích người dùng kiểm tra định kỳ để nắm rõ các cam kết bảo mật của.

1. Core Privacy Commitment
Smart Note ("I") strictly respects the privacy and personal data control of users. Smart Note is designed and engineered following the principles of Local-First & Privacy-By-Design.
This means that all notes, image clippings, text snippets, interface configurations, or any information you input into Smart Note are processed and retained entirely locally within your own browser storage.
2. Information Collection & Local Storage Architecture (Hybrid Storage v2)
Smart Note operates serverless (No Backend) and does NOT perform any command to send data out of your device:
- IndexedDB: Used as the main database to store full detailed contents of note tabs (Rich HTML text) and attached image/media files (Media Blobs) as raw binary data. Everything stays solely inside your Chrome browser.

Chrome Local Storage

chrome.storage.local): Used to save application settings (language, display state, active tab position, tab title list). I have completely removed synchronization via Google Cloud Sync to ensure 100% of data never leaves the client machine. - Strictly No Remote Storage: I do not own, operate, or affiliate with any cloud databases to collect your data.
3. Chrome Extension Permissions Disclosure
To provide superior quick note-taking features directly on web
pages, Smart Note requests minimum necessary permissions declared

4. Data Security & AES-GCM Encryption
Smart Note includes built-in advanced security features for sensitive note tabs:
- Encryption Standard: Directly integrates AES-GCM 256-bit encryption technology via the browser's Web Crypto API.
- PIN Authentication & Session Auto-Lock: When you set a PIN to protect a note tab, the note content will be encrypted with AES-GCM 256-bit before saving into IndexedDB. Your PIN is securely hashed (using PBKDF2 algorithm with 600,000 iterations combined with a device Salt) and saved locally for authentication when you unlock. For maximum safety, the temporary decryption state in RAM is automatically cleared (auto-locking the tab) when you close the browser, requiring you to re-enter your PIN to continue access in the next session.
5. Chrome Web Store Developer Policies Compliance
Smart Note commits to fully complying with data security regulations for Developers on the Chrome Web Store:
✅ Limited Use Compliance: Access to Chrome Extension permissions is strictly to serve the core features of the application. I do not transmit data to third parties, nor do I use data for credit scoring, advertising, or training AI/ML models without consent.
✅ No Data Sale / No Advertising: I do not sell, rent, or share any user data with advertising companies or data brokers.
6. User Rights & Complete Data Control
You retain 100% full ownership over your data in Smart Note:

Data Export Rights (Export): You can back up
all your notes at any time as text files
.txt, structured files.json, or compressed files.zipdirectly from Smart Note settings. - Scanning Toggle Rights: You can enable/disable the Add Note from web pages feature at any time within the user interface.
- Data Deletion Rights (Permanent Delete): When you delete a note or uninstall Smart Note from Google Chrome, the entire IndexedDB database and Local Storage of Smart Note on your computer will be permanently wiped by the browser with no recovery possible.
7. Privacy Policy Amendments
If I have any updates regarding features related to storage mechanisms or system permission requests, this Privacy Policy will be publicly updated here with a new Effective Date. I encourage users to check periodically to understand my privacy commitments.
